New 32-bit All Flash Microcontrollers

The all flash choices for 32-bit design.

• The V850ES/Kx2 Subseries operates within a wide voltage range of 2.7 to 5.5V, making it useful for a variety of applications.

• The V850ES/Jx2 Subseries operates not only within a 3.3V voltage range, but also with high speed, so it's suitable for digital home appliances that require complex, multifunctional, high-speed processing.

• The V850ES/Hx2 Subseries has 24 ch inputs for the A/D converter, making these devices suitable for sensor applications that require multiple A/D converter input.

NEC Electronics' new all flash general-purpose microcontrollers offer reliable flash memory in a wide range of sizes and packages and high performance with high throughput. The 32-bit all flash lineup is based on the V850ES RISC CPU core that offers 29 Dhrystone MIPS performance at 20 MHz and expands the existing 32-bit family with 28 new devices. With low power consumption and flexible power management features to control electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic susceptibility, these device can meet the design constraints for a variety of applications.

MINICUBE2

The QB-MINI2 is an emulator that connects to a target device via serial interface. It includes an on-chip debugging unit and is used to efficiently debug both hardware and software. The same QB-MINI2 supports V850ES/Kx2, V850ES/Jx2, and V850ES/Hx2 devices.

IECUBE

The IECUBE is a full-function emulator used to efficiently debug both hardware and software. This high-performance emulator includes the NEC Electronics debugger and a simple flash programmer. It's compact and lightweight enough to fit in your hand, and is a cost-effective solution. Furthermore, an incorporated self-testing tool allows for easy maintenance.
