78K0 (8-bit) Microcontrollers
The 78K0, 8-bit microcontroller is definitely one of the most successful products in the NEC Electronics microcontroller portfolio. Optimized for efficiency, some of these devices are the 8-bit leg of the new 78K0/Kx2 concept. This series of microcontrollers is available with a host of different on-chip peripherals, as shown in this table:
