Overview

The LSI character pattern editor for OSD is an editor used to generate character patterns (character design, mask code options) for NEC Electronics's on-screen character display LSI.
This character pattern editor is supplied free of charge to users who are carrying out development using NEC Electronics's on-screen character display LSI.
When you use this program, it is assumed that you agree with the conditions of the License Agreement. Thoroughly read this License Agreement before using the character pattern editor.


Operating Environment

  • Personal computers running Windows
  • Recommended operating system: Microsoft® Windows 3.1, Windows 95
  • Keyboard, mouse

Installation

  1. Download cpe_f_w_zip.
  2. Unzip cpe_f_w.zip (compressed file).
  3. Start setup.exe with the file manager, etc. Perform setup in accordance with the instructions displayed on the screen.
  4. Copy Mfc250.dll to the osd directory created during setup.

  • The standard character pattern of the µPD6467 is the same as that of the µPD6466.
  • To generate or edit the character patterns of the µPD6467, specify the µPD6467 when selecting the device.
